It is the 3rd of August and I am at Auckland Zoo.The Concrete is wet and filled with children waiting excitedly. The noise of kids talking is loud enough to wake up a Lion. Everywhere is buzzing with good vibes.... As we walk through the entry.
It is Nearly lunch, it’s drizzling with rain now.The grass blows slowly, so slowly, like a snail going to the other side of a ruler. Everything is native and fresh, awesome and huge and loud again.
Lions roar from inside the enclosure.”lets move on to the next animal” says Mrs Paniora as I follow the group. The Squirrel Monkeys jump from Branch to Branch and we watch like an person getting hypnotized.
I love the Zoo.
